My 14 1/2-year-old miniature pinscher has been experiencing diarrhea, loss of appetite, choking, falling over, and passing out for a moment. She recently had a chest X-ray showing a slightly enlarged heart and a bend in her trachea, with clear lungs. Her last blood work was fine, but she is on low-dose thyroid medicine and heart medication (enalapril and pimobendan). What other suggestions do you have for her condition?

My dog, Max, is not eating his regular food and only eats when it's mixed with other foods or when it's something he really likes. He recently ate part of a rubber ball and had diarrhea for a couple of days, but his stools are normal now. He also has a history of limping and inflammation in his elbow, for which he was prescribed steroids and antibiotics. What could be causing his picky eating behavior and what can I do to help him?

My 10-month-old female Pit Bull was spayed a week ago. She had a minor skin infection on her neck, was on antibiotics, and her incision is healing well. However, she has developed a thick, yellowish vaginal discharge that has worsened over the past two days. Could this be related to her spaying, and what should I do?

My 9-week-old beagle, Sarah, has runny, black/red stools. I've had her for two weeks and was changing her food, combining old with new. There was some mucous yesterday, but now it's just runny and appears black, turning rusty red when cleaned up. She's still active and playful. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dachshund has an issue with her esophagus where food does not pass into her stomach and comes back up, leading to emaciation. The vet diagnosed megaesophagus and said there's nothing he can do. What can be done to help her?

My dog had her teeth cleaned today and has been restless and whining since I got her home. She seemed groggy during the car ride home but not since we arrived at the house. She's been under anesthesia before and had a teeth cleaning once before as well as being spayed. She did eat dinner, drink water, and go potty, but she's just pacing and whining. What could be causing this behavior, and should I be concerned about her being in pain?
