My 14-year-old bichon cross had an episode where he made a noise like a dog hit by a car, became limp and unresponsive, then recovered quickly. He seems fine now, but could this have been caused by a nightmare, and should I take him to the vet?

My dog had surgery about a month ago for a ham bone that was caught in his intestines. There is a good chance that he just ate some cornish game hen bones. What should I do?

My 13-year-old teacup Yorkie has mucus and traces of blood in her stool, but otherwise acts okay. She is a little reluctant to use the staircase, which I think might be due to a vision problem. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dog was diagnosed with Cushing's disease and was on Lysodren for 4 days, but experienced severe side effects such as dizziness, difficulty walking, and reduced water intake and peeing. After discontinuing Lysodren and starting prednisone, her side effects lessened but she still looks dazed and has facial asymmetry resembling a stroke. How long does Lysodren last in a dog's system, and did the initial harsh treatment cause damage?

My 10-month-old Boston Terrier has a dog door allowing him to go in and out while I'm at work. There are some Kosha weeds in his run, and last night he was lethargic and extremely drooly. He still ate dinner and drank normally, and this morning his attitude is back to normal but he is still drooling. Could this be from ingesting too many of these weeds? Should I be worried?

My 14-year-old Yorkie has kidney failure and is having trouble walking and getting up. The vet prescribed Tramadol, but it upsets her stomach and causes diarrhea. Is there anything else I can try to help her?
