My 14-year-old Chihuahua, Max, is having difficulty maintaining balance, falls over while trying to poop, has a tucked tail, loss of appetite, and cries in pain when touched near his left hind leg/hip area. His back seems arched, and he stays in one spot unless picked up. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?
