My 14-year-old dog Jeter is on 100mg of gabapentin and 50mg of tramadol, both every 12 hours, and 50mg of Rovera every 12 hours. The instructions say gabapentin can be given up to every 8 hours and tramadol every 8 hours. I'm unsure if this means I can give them every 8 hours or sooner. Additionally, I'm wondering if I need to give both drugs or if I can just use the gabapentin if it seems to be working. It's the first day on the gabapentin.

I have a four-year-old male Labrador named Champ. He hasn't been eating for the past four days, is inactive, has weak limbs, and seems very sick. Last year's injections were in June 2016. Can you assist with a diagnosis?

My dog got a dexamethasone 4mg shot on Tuesday 2/11 for his hips, and it seemed to help a little. However, on Thursday 2/13, he started vomiting hours after eating, even though he acts hungry and eats his food fine. Is this a side effect of the shot, and would it take 2 days to affect him this way?

Our dog is bleeding and we cannot determine if he has vomited the blood or where it is dripping from in his mouth. He is a big rough collie and often catches a ball, so we suspect it might be a tooth issue. What could be causing the bleeding, and what steps should we take to address it?

I found a small red bump on my dog's stomach. It appeared a few days ago and does not seem to bother her. What could this bump be, and what steps should I take to determine its nature?

Can I give my dog a stool softener, and what should I do if my dog hasn't gone to the bathroom in a couple of days, is whining to go out but only urinates, and was shivering yesterday?
