My 11-year-old Dalmatian has high liver readings but shows no symptoms of liver disease. He is eating and behaving normally. He has been prescribed Rimadyl for joint pain, Destolit, and Ronaxan for suspected liver disease. Can these medications be taken together, and why were they prescribed if no symptoms are present? Could tooth decay or Rimadyl side effects cause elevated liver test readings, and when might symptoms of liver disease present themselves?

My male mix breed sharpei pointer cross dog started coughing and now is panting around the house, struggling to get a full breath. He has been congested for the last week. I have Benadryl D and Zyrtec D, but I'm unsure if I can give them to him and what the correct dose would be.
