My 14-year-old dog was recently staggery, vomited twice, and urinated in the house, which is unusual for him. I took him to the vet who performed a CBC, UA, and started him on Baytril (135 mg). His appetite has been poor, refusing dog food but eating roast beef and gravy, and he's been extra sleepy. He hasn't had a bowel movement for two days, which is also unusual. He's drinking water and urinating fine. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?

Can you give a dog Pedialyte when they have symptoms of canine vestibular disease and are vomiting? Our dog has these symptoms and the vet gave tablets of sulfa/trimethroprim and prednisone. The dog won't eat anything and continues to vomit. Should we still give him the antibiotic and prednisone, and is there any other way to get him to eat?

My dog has a lump under her skin, roughly one inch square, that she has had for some time now. It does not seem to bother her even when I touch it. Is this a problem?
