My 14-year-old mixed Lab, Beau, had a seizure or stroke, and after administering 60 mg of phenobarbital, he is unable to get up and is paddling on the floor with stiff legs, head, and neck. He is conscious but not actively seizing. What should I do?

How long does it take for a foreign object to pass through a dog's digestive system, and what should I do if my dog ate a part of a stuffed toy and hasn't passed it yet?

My chiweenie, who will be 8 in July, was diagnosed with a grade 3 heart murmur. No other signs of heart issues. She has an appointment on April 16 for an echo/ultrasound. Is that too long to wait? Will she be okay between now and then?

My dog ate a small piece of cake containing sago palm. The cake is made with sugar, butter, eggs, and the sago plant. My dog is around 5 years old, weighs 17-18 kg, and ate a piece of cake that is about 1 inch by 0.5 inch. The cake ingredients include 100 grams of sago, 2 pandan leaves, 50 grams of sugar, 400 milliliters of water, coconut (desiccated or grated), and 1 teaspoon of rose paste extract. My dog vomited about an hour after eating the cake and had heaving afterward but hasn't vomited since. She drank water and ate a treat normally and had slightly soft stool but no blood. Could the vomiting be related to the sago plant cake, or could it be something else? If she's vomited, given the small amount and her size, could she have already passed the danger? What symptoms should we be looking out for?
