How long do post-seizure symptoms last in dogs, and is it normal for them to be tired after a seizure?

I've been working from home for the past couple of years, and my dog, who already had attachment issues and has been passed between five or six different people, is now biting herself and tearing her hair off since I'm going back to work. I was wondering if a mood stabilizer would be good for her. Additionally, she is mourning the loss of her friends and is barely playing or eating. What can I do to help her with her anxiety and sadness?
