My 14-year-old Yorkie, Bridgette, is very thin, has been throwing up mucus and white foam, and is not eating well. She had cancer nodules removed a year ago and is now breathing hard. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do?

I have nine 4-week-old puppies. The mother stopped feeding them at 3 weeks, and they won't attach to a bottle. I ran out of milk replacer and can't afford more until the 15th. They are currently on wet puppy food and seem to eat well. Can I mix water with the puppy food or should I just give them the food alone?
