My 15-year-old dog, Hope, has lung cancer and congestive heart disease. She is on medication for her heart and recently for her coughing. Today she coughed up a foamy liquid, and tonight her breathing is very labored. She can't seem to settle or get comfortable, either walking around, staring into space or at me, or lying down in her bed for a few minutes then up again. She ate her supper around 6 and has gone to her bowl for a drink. She has been barking at me every hour or so to take her outside where she has diarrhea. Her breathing is scaring me. Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about the dog?

My 4-month-old Catahoula has been itching and has a rash under his left underarm area. It was treated with Benadryl before but has returned, spreading towards his chest. He has also been itching around his outside leg but no redness. What could be causing this rash, and what should I do to treat it?

My dog, Barrett, was diagnosed with IVDD and is currently on gabapentin and carprofen. He jumped off the bed and is now in a lot of pain. I gave him tramadol, but he is still hurting and crying. How long before tramadol will help his pain, and is it worth getting a back brace for a dog with IVDD?

My spayed 9-year-old Shih Tzu has been experiencing a bleeding issue for about a week. She has been on medication, had X-rays, and an ultrasound, but nothing has been found. The vet mentioned her vulva is curved, and I have to wipe her every time she goes outside. What could be causing the bleeding, and what should I do next?
