My 15-year-old dog, Nevaeh, has severe arthritis in her hind end and is on daily NSAIDs (carprofen) and gabapentin, but the pain is not fully managed. My dog had an infected anal gland that was lanced by the vet on February 2nd. She did a week of antibiotics and pain meds. She has seemed fine since and has been her normal self, however she has been having diarrhea since yesterday morning. Should I take her back into the vet? She is having more bowel movements than usually and it looks like soft serve ice cream.
