My 9-year-old Brittany, Heidi, has a dry cough, is lethargic, and has a suppressed appetite. I suspect it might be valley fever symptoms. She is on heartworm preventative and was recently tested for heartworms. Her gums are a normal color, and she has gained a few pounds recently due to eating a little extra due to a new puppy in the house. This morning, she didn't finish her usual half can of wet food, which is unusual for her.
