My 16-month-old lab fell out of a moving pickup truck going around 50mph. He has a gash on his rear left leg, a cut above his right eye, and some road rash under his chin. He was limping initially but is now no longer limping, though the leg is stiff when he turns or goes up stairs. He has been eating fine until today, when he started having loose stools and hasn't eaten his dog food but has eaten a rawhide and has an appetite for human food. He does not appear to have had a concussion and is very alert and happy. Vet is closed until tomorrow. Do you think he needs to be seen or could he just be stressed from the trauma of the injury?

My eight-month-old German Shepherd has started drooling excessively, drenching his throat area and constantly dripping. He has had all his shots, is playful and active, but seems a little needy. I pulled several ticks off him some weeks ago and checked his mouth but found no cuts. What could be causing this excessive drooling, which seems abnormal for the breed?

I gave my 70 lb 10 yr old Bassett 4 baby aspirin for pain, and now he is panting heavily. He wasn't panting before. How can I get him to relax? I am prescribed Klonopin, which is not a pain reliever. Where do you think his pain is originating from?

I have 2 dogs, an 8-year-old Rat Terrier (Harley) and a 6-year-old Rottweiler (Rocsi). Recently, Rocsi has started to charge at Harley with aggression, and I'm afraid she might hurt him. What can I do to address this behavior?
