Can a nine-year-old dog get parvovirus, and what should be done if the dog is throwing up? The dog, Gracie, has been exposed to parvovirus through previous puppies in the household, but they are no longer present. Gracie is still frisky at times and the weather is very hot, with the dog being brought inside when temperatures exceed 100 degrees.

We are at a cabin in the woods and realized we did not pick up mouse poison from the bedroom. We don't believe our dogs got into it, but we can't be 100% sure.
