My 17-month-old black Toy Poodle, Sir Reginald Buckley (Reggie), endured two full days of 85-92 degree heat when the A/C went out. I frequently rubbed him down with a wet washcloth and provided ice cubes for drinking. The A/C is back on today, but I noticed a reddish-brown line on his gums. What am I dealing with? What can I do? He has not eaten much due to the extreme heat, even though food is always available.

My dog, Jessie, had her glands cleaned under anesthesia and received parvo, rabies, and distemper vaccines. After the procedure, she started crying loudly in pain. The vet gave her a pain shot, prescribed tramadol and prednisone, and mentioned she might have arthritis. Jessie is still in severe pain, and I suspect she might be having a bad reaction to the vaccines. What should I do?
