My 17-year-old Bichon has very weak legs, is lethargic, and suddenly unable to stand up. He had a seizure at 2 am and is now trying to get up but can't. He barks and turns around on the floor. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dog, Major, a 4-year-old canine weighing 69 pounds, is whining and biting his tail and rear end after visiting the beach. He seems to be in pain and very restless, and this behavior is new. We bathed him but it hasn't helped. What could be causing this and what should I do?

I am watching two dogs for a friend. One dog is a 10 lb Pekingese female and the other is a 40 lb Australian Shepherd/Lab mix female. I accidentally lost a 2.5 mg Methimazole pill meant for my cat and am unsure if one of the dogs ingested it. It has been 30 minutes since I lost the pill. Should I be concerned, and is it necessary to induce vomiting?

My labrador was sniffing in an NYC flower garden where there might be rat poison. I'm not sure if she ate any, but she hasn't vomited. What should I do?

My dog ate a peach pit over a week ago. She's been having consistent bowel movements but recently developed diarrhea and has been vomiting about 2 tablespoons every couple of days. She otherwise acts completely normal. Should I be concerned about an internal blockage?

My dog had a decreased ALP, slightly increased MPV, and slightly increased basophils on pre-anesthesia work-up. What does that mean and should they have proceeded with the procedure?
