My 18 lb, 15-year-old dog named Suki ate approximately 2-3 oz of chocolate chips 2 hours ago. She has underlying kidney disease and has thrown up a bit of water and mucus since then. What should I do to help her, and how can I keep her hydrated?

Is it possible for a dog to fake being injured, and should I take my dog to the vet if she intermittently limps only when at home?

I have an elderly dog named Sierra, a 14-year-old Havanese, who has heavy gold urine, has quit eating but still drinks lots of water. I am supplementing her with droppers of Ensure and Pedialyte. She walks all over the house, but her appetite has slowly declined over the past 4 weeks. She still wags her tail and brings me her toy when I get home. I thought she might have kidney failure, but I'm wondering if it could just be an infection. She was 8 pounds but has lost quite a bit of weight. I am deaf, and she was my service dog. What should I do?

My Yorkie, Jackson, ingested a small piece of cooked onion a few minutes ago. He is a small dog, weighing 6.5 lbs, and is 4 years old. He ate his kibble and drank water after the incident and is behaving normally. Should I be concerned, and what should I monitor for?

My dog, Loki, a one-year-old, suddenly started having trouble standing and became wobbly. There's also a raised red circular wound on his leg that was noticed two days ago. He's not very active now, unlike his usual self. Is the dog bleeding at all? Any sign of swelling? What else should the vet know before I connect with them?
