My 19-month-old Gordon/Irish/English setter mix, who has a history of ear infections and allergic dermatitis, has recently developed alopecia and edema around the corner of his mouth. I have a 6-year-old Maltipoo who has been shaking and is unusually inactive today. She is usually very active but is now reluctant to move. Should I take her to the emergency vet today?

My dog, Sam, has been refusing to eat dry food and is very aggressive towards feet, biting them. Is it okay to feed him canned food only, and how can I stop his foot-biting behavior without using physical punishment?
