My dog was laying on his side, having convulsions (body shakes and jerks), and throwing up white foamy clear liquid (saliva?). This happened three times over the past three months, and he did not survive the last episode. We suspect poisoning, but he was always playful and friendly, and had his shots. What could have caused his condition?

My dog, Sunshine, a 20 lb Maltese Shih Tzu, was diagnosed with adrenal-type Cushing's 3 months ago. She has experienced increased fluid intake, weight loss, constant shaking, pancreatitis, and now sudden cessation of water intake. Her hind legs are weak, and she seems disoriented. She has been on herbal support and Ophiopogon formula for Cushing's. What should I do about her current condition and is she in pain or suffering?
