We have two dogs, one 9 years old and one 13 years old, who have recently battled fleas. The younger dog has developed three bald spots on his back near the tail, about a quarter size each. Our 13-year-old dachshund has hyperproteinurea, hypertension, and a level 3 heart murmur. She is currently taking benazepril, amlodipene (which may be discontinued), and recently started Telmisartan. She is experiencing dry heaving and loose stools since starting Telmisartan. We were given a 7-day supply of Fortiflora Pro to help with digestive side effects, but I can't find literature indicating it's effective for medication side effects. Could you comment on the effectiveness of Fortiflora Pro for this purpose?
