My 2-year-old dog, Zoe, keeps licking objects and appears to have a scratch in her throat, which seems to be causing her to simulate vomiting and make a noise as if she's clearing her throat. She has also started eating grass more often and today has done this behavior about 5 times. She is eating fine and her other behaviors are normal. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My dog got a cut yesterday, the bleeding was minor and stopped shortly after, but now he won't walk on it and his paw is pretty swollen. I've cleaned the wound with saline, but he still won't put his paw down and it's swollen. Should I take him to an emergency vet or can he wait until my regular vet opens on Monday?
