My dog, Sadie, has a bump on her back right ankle that appeared on Monday. The vet aspirated it and saw 3 mast cells, suggesting it might not be a tumor since they usually see closer to 100 mast cells in such cases. Could this be caused by an insect bite or foreign object? The bump has gotten smaller and did not increase in size after aspiration.
