My 2-year-old Irish Terrier, Limerick, has developed neurological symptoms similar to ALS in humans. She started with weakness and pain in her front left paw, which has now spread to her back left paw. She is constantly shaking, lethargic, and has a sore on her left front paw. Her condition has worsened significantly in just 5-6 days. Her appetite is okay, but she hasn't had a bowel movement in 20 hours. She may have ingested preen weed preventer two weeks ago. What could be causing these symptoms and what tests or treatments should be considered?
