My 2-year-old Pitbull, Davidson Gibson, ate something bad and threw it up, but still seems sick and very skinny. He used to weigh around 70-75 lbs, but now he's down to about 45-50 lbs with visible ribs. He's not eating and only drinking water. What should I do to help him recover, especially since I don't have the money for a vet visit?

I have a 12-year-old dog named Maggie with a heart condition. She is on heart medications (pimobendan and Floro-something) and has recently become very picky about her food, eating very little.
