My French bulldog, Henny, has a swelling on one side of his face that started three days ago and has worsened. He is 10 months old, drinks water, has low energy levels but still plays, and doesn't lick the affected area. What could be causing the swelling, and what should I do?

My 5-month-old puppy, Nala, suddenly developed swelling in her upper left eyelid around 8:30pm, which spread to both eyes, her upper lip, and snout by 1:30am. She has not been licking the swelling but has occasionally pawed at her eyes. I gave her a Benadryl pill at 10:00pm. What could be causing this and what should I do?
