My 2-year-old Shiba Inu, Bear, has been grabbing and biting his hind area, particularly under his tail, not all the time. He was on pain meds for a while but now seems okay, though he still occasionally bites. The vet checked his anal glands and found nothing, and they think it might be allergies. What could be causing this and what should I do?
