My 2-year-old Shichon dog, Johnny, ate a small, individually wrapped chocolate last night. He has had loose stools this morning and urinated unusually in the middle of the night. His appetite is good, and he is energetic. What should I do, and is this situation alarming?

Our dog, Borki, a 2.5-year-old border collie corgi mix weighing 35 pounds, ate 5 pieces of Merci chocolates (2 marzipan, 2 dark mousse, and 1 dark cream) while we were out for 3 hours. We didn't find any vomit. Should we bring her in to be seen?
