I have a 4-pound, 11-year-old silky terrier named TickTac who has been sneezing, coughing/choking, and has watery eyes for the past 2 weeks. She was prescribed antibiotics and a cough suppressant by the vet, but there has been no improvement. She also licks her lips a lot, and I suspect she might have a foxtail in her nose. Her heart sounded strong and healthy during her vet visit, but the vet mentioned a possible respiratory infection. What additional steps should I take to address her symptoms?

My dog, Stripe, won't stop barking. He is 16 years old and his hips seem to hurt. We have tried dog pain pills, but they don't seem to help. Aside from this barking, have you noticed other behavioral changes in the dog? Any signs of pain or discomfort?
