My dog, Xander, is 4 years old and has been bleeding from where he pees. This started this morning and there is an unusual smell. He seems normal otherwise, but my brother mentioned it happened when he got excited. Xander has arthritis in his left knee and a long cleft palate, which causes breathing issues during hot weather.
