My 3-year-old, 45-pound goldendoodle, Jetta, has been vomiting non-stop for the last 5.5 hours after previously vomiting up my infant son's socks. She is refusing water and ice cubes, and her vomit is clear, mucus, and more recently white foam. She is barrel-chested and I am concerned about a flipped stomach. What should I do to help relieve her from vomiting, and should I take her to an emergency vet despite the long wait?

My one-year-old Hound mix, Diego, has been vomiting about 5 hours after eating for two consecutive meals. He also passed a small piece of soft rotten wood this morning and has been trying to poop without success. He is active and drinking but not interested in breakfast. Is it okay to monitor him for a few hours to see how he behaves?
