My 3-year-old Shetland Sheepdog named Lassie just ate a small container of 'I Can't Believe It's Not Butter.' What should I do to ensure she's safe and monitor her for any potential issues?

My mini schnauzer, who weighs 16.4 lbs and has a history of recurrent UTIs with E.Coli bacteria, was prescribed Cefpodoxime Proxetil 200 mg - 1/2 tab every 24 hours. After the first dose, she experienced side effects such as paw licking, drooling, and loss of appetite. I reduced the dosage to 50 mg every 12 hours, which seemed to alleviate the side effects. Is it okay to continue with 50 mg every 12 hours instead of 100 mg every 24 hours? Additionally, my vet is concerned about antibiotic resistance and plans to use a stronger antibiotic for a shorter period, followed by a break and reculture. What should I do now?

My Shetland Sheepdog, Nelson, ate 5 to 10 Hershey kisses. He is 2 years old and weighs about 27 pounds. He had a regular meal at the same time he ate the chocolate. Should I be concerned about his health?

My 70-pound pitbull, Athena, usually gets 150mg of phenobarbital in the morning and again in the evening. Today, I accidentally gave her a second dose about an hour after my husband had already given her the morning dose. Should I skip her evening dose or not, as she is already at the therapeutic level based on last week's blood work?

My 13-year-old Labrador, Jewel, has arthritis in her hindquarters and possible kidney problems. She is currently taking tramadol hydrochloride 50 mg twice daily. I am looking for a cheaper alternative to Carprofen that can be purchased online or over the counter.
