My chocolate lab/retriever mix, Rylie, has had kennel cough since June 1st and is on two antibiotics (Doxycycline and Amoxicillin). Can she be outside with one other dog, considering I'm a human nurse and understand that once on antibiotics, one is usually not contagious?

One of our dogs may have chewed on an ant trap containing borax. The dogs weigh 15lbs and 42lbs, and they are 6 months and 8 months old, respectively. They are acting normally now, with no signs of vomiting or diarrhea. Is borax toxic to dogs, and should we be concerned?
