My 4 1/2-year-old pug woke up with his eyeball popped out of the socket. I need guidance on what to do until I can get him to a vet. I have been keeping his eye moist with saline water and considering pushing the eyeball back into the socket if emergency vet care is not available. What are the steps to handle this situation, and does the procedure to put the eyeball back in require sedation?
