My 4.5-year-old black lab, Ruby, vomited her dinner and clear liquid after being left alone for four hours, the longest she has ever been alone. She also vomited clear liquid multiple times and emptied her water bowl. She drank water but vomited it up immediately. She did not sleep on my bed that night and vomited clear liquid again the next morning. I gave her water again and she vomited it within 5 minutes. She weighs 100 pounds and is very attached to me. I found bits of rubber insulation around the door to the garage that she had scratched at and broken off. She is not known for eating non-food items and I think her anxiety is a contributing factor. What should I do to help her and should I take her to the emergency hospital?

My dog, Josie, who is 2 years old, has a red lump the size of a nickel on her back leg. The hair is still on it, but the pores are swollen. She is acting normal and the lump doesn't seem to be causing her pain. Should I bring her to an emergency vet or wait until her regular vet is open on Tuesday?

My ferret got into some waxing oil (approximately 0.05ml) and licked/ate it off a plastic case. I gave him water mixed with a little Marshall’s “duck soup,” cleaned him up, and administered a 0.07 ml dose of a specially compounded antihistamine prescribed by my vet. My ferret is 10 months old, 1200 grams, male, and had a clean bill of health before this. He is responsive, playing, and his color is good. However, he is gagging a bit and not vomiting. Should I take him to the ER?
