My 4-month-old Aussiedoodle named Boomer has vomited three times in the last hour and keeps showing signs of more to expel. He also pooped once between the episodes. The vomit started with food and is becoming less solid. He might have eaten a small piece of pine needle. His energy is normal, his gums are pink, and there is no pain in his abdomen. He weighs 29 lbs and is on florestor probiotics. He finished an antibiotic for Giardia about 10 days ago. What should I do?

My local dog vet diagnosed my 1.5-year-old male lab with hip dysplasia. The breeder insists on a diagnosis from a specific vet, Dr. xxxxx, and will only replace the dog if confirmed. Should I pay for another diagnosis, and what are the long-term effects of HD on the dog's hunting career and life? Should I ask the breeder to pay for half or all of the second diagnosis, and what should I do regarding keeping or returning the dog?

I accidentally cut my dog's tongue while cutting a fur mat. The cut is about 1/4 inch long on the side edge of her tongue and has been bleeding a lot. I applied a cold, wet cloth and gave her a popsicle to lick. The bleeding seems to have stopped, but I'm concerned about infection and feeding her. What else can I do?

My 3-year-old female neutered dog has a swollen right front leg, is lethargic, and won't eat or drink. Her joints move without pain, and she walks without favoring the leg. Her chest is tender when lifted by her chest off her paws. What could be happening and what should I do?

I have a 4-year-old female Lakeland Terrier that periodically throws up her food and has intestinal gas rumbling sounds. She is fed Purina One Lamb & Rice adult hard food and gets Pedigree Breath Buster dog treats as a reward. She doesn't eat people food or roam freely outside. Is there any concern about stomach torsion in a small breed like this, or what could be causing these issues?

I use an ivermec product that controls heartworms, fleas, ticks, and other worms. It is inexpensive and efficient. I have used it for 20 years and my dogs live long healthy lives. Why is this not common knowledge and why do vets not recommend it?
