My 4-year-old black Labrador mix, Whiskey, has blood in his stool. His stool is very loose and there was a clear coating on part of it. He ate some grilled mushrooms and falafel recently. He's eating and drinking normally but is a bit more sleepy than usual. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My 5-year-old Goldendoodle, Cooper, has been diagnosed with a sprained right hip and has swollen, painful lymph nodes in his chest and neck. He was previously diagnosed with Lyme disease and has been on doxycycline for 3 weeks. He is currently on carprofen, gabapentin, trazodone, and doxycycline for pain management. He did not sleep at all last night and is extremely sore, with his left shoulder also swollen. What should I do to help Cooper manage his pain and discomfort until he can be seen by his regular vet?
