My 4-year-old dachshund, Mackenzie, has had diarrhea and vomiting, which started last night. He seemed better during the day but is now lethargic and not feeling well. Should I wait until morning to take him to the vet, or should I seek emergency care?

My 12-year-old Boxer, Scooby, is scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning to remove cysts/abscesses in his mouth due to gingivitis overgrowth. He has shown signs of pain tonight, including head down, slight panting, slow walking, and pacing. He was prescribed 100mg of Tramadol, but he is not drinking water and appears uncomfortable. Should we take him to an emergency vet?

My 9-month-old puppy, who recently had puppies, is shedding, hasn't eaten all day, is vomiting bile and whitish foam, has slimy drool, and hasn't had her rabies shot or follow-up vaccines and worming. What could be causing her symptoms and what should I do?

My dog has been experiencing chronic digestive issues for several years, with varying results from different vets and medications. The most recent recommendation was a very expensive Hills z/d food. I'm looking for more natural and affordable alternatives that might be better suited for my dog, who may have colitis and exhibits symptoms of SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth).

My dog Yogi has been struggling with stomach acid issues and was previously on Pepcid 20 twice a day, which stopped working well. His vet recently switched him to Prilosec, but he has been vomiting more since the switch. What can I do to help manage his symptoms while we see if the Prilosec will work? Can I give both Pepcid and Prilosec together, and is there anything else I can give to help?

My Beagle, Baxter, has been pawing at his face for the last 24-48 hours. He is 11 years and 6 months old and has Cushing's Disease, which is being treated with Trilostane, and has cancer in his bladder and prostate, for which he has had chemotherapy and is taking NSAIDs. What could be causing him to paw at his face and what should I do?
