My 4-year-old Maltese named Ziggy has had diarrhea for the past 24 hours. I gave him anti-diarrhea medicine, but it hasn't helped. He hasn't eaten anything unusual, and there have been no changes to his food. He is still eating and drinking but is more laid back than usual. What could be causing his diarrhea, and what should I do to help him?

My dog, Lewie, a 2-year-old Border Collie weighing about 45-50 lbs, drank water from a bucket containing a diluted mixture of Miracle Grow plant food (3 gallons of water with 3 tablespoons of Miracle Grow). We washed his mouth out with water immediately. He has not vomited and is currently playing and acting normally. Should we be concerned about any potential toxicity, and what should we monitor for?
