My 4-year-old standard poodle, Mia, has been biting at her tail, causing a raw patch. This behavior started a couple of weeks ago and has intensified. We think it might be stress from losing her buddy. We've tried applying healing salve but she won't let us due to sensitivity, and we've put a hat on her to prevent further biting. What could be causing this behavior and what should we do?

My dog, Tyrion, is scheduled for a liver biopsy due to suspected cholangiohepatitis. His liver and gallbladder values were significantly elevated in bloodwork, and despite treatment, some values have not improved. I want a second opinion on whether the biopsy is necessary and if there are alternative treatments.

My Saint Bernard, King Theodore, lost function in his rear legs suddenly. He was fine on June 5, but by June 9, he couldn't use his hind legs. His bloodwork and X-rays were normal, and he was given steroids, which improved his walking slightly. However, he seemed disoriented and didn't recognize me when I visited. He also has a history of licking his paws and shaking his head, for which he uses ear drops. Could this be a neurological issue, possibly in his brain?
