My dog, Cookie, has had diarrhea for two weeks, was treated with metronidazole and dewormer, but symptoms returned. She has a history of pancreatitis and gall bladder surgery. She has been given omeprazole and cerenia, but her appetite is still low, and her stomach is gassy. Her stool has not been examined, and she has been diagnosed with pancreatitis. Could it still be a bacterial infection, and should her stool be examined again? What else can be done to help her recover?

The techs suspected Kennel Cough but needed a vet's diagnosis. I was advised to go home and await a call, which has not yet come. Can you help with prescribing an antibiotic for him?
