My 5-month-old dog, Weston, who weighs 11.2 pounds, is swallowing hard, gagging, and trying to vomit unsuccessfully. He just ate about a half cup of food 10 minutes ago, but this behavior started before that. He had a normal bowel movement, his breathing is fine, and his gums are a normal pink color. He seems to be in discomfort when he swallows and has been exhibiting strange behavior like running into corners and laying down for a few moments before moving to another spot. What could be causing this and what should I do?
