My 4-year-old toy Yorkie had a partially formed stool yesterday, which became softer and now contains blood. She doesn't seem to be drinking more or less, won't eat, and is picky. She hasn't eaten anything unusual that I know of. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My 10 lb dog ate a palmful of hair clippings about 5.5 hours ago. He has been acting normal and playing, but had loose stool 30 minutes ago. Does he need to go to the vet because of the loose stool?
