My 5-year-old English bulldog, Hannah, has been at the vet since last Friday due to kidney issues, including one nonfunctional kidney and an inflamed one. She has been on IV antibiotics and fluids, but her condition has not improved. She has periods of perkiness in the morning followed by crashes in the afternoon, and she has not been eating well. The vet tested for Addison's disease and found it negative. They are suggesting we may need to consider euthanasia if she doesn't improve by Friday. What are the possible treatments or steps we can take to help her recover, and should we consider bringing her home for a change in environment?
