My dog Bo, an 11-year-old Australian Cattle dog, was hyper and excited this morning but suddenly became lethargic when my sister visited. He usually loves to see her and was not excited about going outside. His appetite and stool have been normal, but he ate leftover eggs for breakfast and had a Christmas cookie and a new biscuit treat over the weekend. He has a lump on his chest/belly that the previous vet believes is full of fluid. What could be causing his sudden lethargy?

My 1-year-old Golden Retriever, Bodie, was neutered 6 days ago. Yesterday, I noticed his scrotum was swollen and a little more firm than before. This morning, his sheath is also swollen and warm to the touch. The incision is clean, approximated, and there is no discharge or redness. Bodie is not licking the area and is wearing a cone. He is eating, drinking, and acting like his normal self. Is this common after a neuter?
