My 5-year-old terrier mix, Ellie, has been waking me up for the last 3 days with shaking and panting. Yesterday, her head was hot, but not today. She climbs close to me during these episodes. She has no cough, is eating and drinking normally, and can move and jump without difficulty. There have been no changes in her routine or household, but my husband started using an electric blanket a month ago. What could be causing this behavior, and what can I do to help her?

My dog was hit by a car and is limping, has blood dripping from his nose, and is breathing slowly and deeply. I've tried all the vets in the city but they are closed. Is this a sign of internal bleeding or something worse? What can I do to help him until the vet opens tomorrow?
