I have a 10-year-old miniature poodle named Laylah who has had intermittent blood-streaked stool for a month. The vet found a slightly enlarged spleen and prescribed amoxicillin for 7 days, which seemed to improve her condition. However, after a couple of weeks, she has shown decreased appetite and general malaise. What could be causing these symptoms and what should I do next?

My vet prescribed trazodone 50mg to help my dog, Millie, relax so I can cut her nails. I gave her one tablet before and it didn't work. She is about 28-30 pounds. Should I give her 1 1/2 or 2 tablets for the proper dosage to help her relax and be sleepy enough for me to clip her nails?

Tonks, my 12-year-old Australian cattle dog mix, ate about 300 grams of freeze-dried liver treats. She has not had a bowel movement since yesterday after eating the treats, and is showing symptoms of rapid light breathing, unsteady on her feet, and lethargy. What should I do?
