I recently had to put my 14-year-old pitbull to sleep due to a large hemangiosarcoma tumor on her heart and fluid buildup in her abdomen. I feel guilty for making the decision quickly and wonder if I should have tried more treatments or taken her to a specialized emergency hospital. Could I have done more to prolong her life or was putting her to sleep the right decision?

This is her first week on Keppra, and she now has a cough, is unsteady, urinates frequently near her bed, is listless, and has no appetite. She has also vomited and has a wheezy cough.
