My 58-lb. dog ate a Zone Perfect Chocolate/peanut butter bar and swallowed the wrapper. I'm more concerned about the wrapper and the damage it could do than the amount of chocolate in the energy bar. He's eaten chocolate before without incident. What should I do?

I have a 15-year-old dog named Zoe. She had fluid in her abdomen, which was drained and found to contain blood. X-rays did not show any abnormalities due to the fluid. The vet suspects there might be a mass that didn't show up on the X-ray. Zoe is on antibiotics, her heart looks good, but she has an enlarged liver and possibly an enlarged spleen. They are suggesting an ultrasound. Given her age, surgery might not be an option. What should be my next step?
