My 5lb Yorkie named Carley, who is 12 years old and will be 13 on July 17, had a small 'egg size' tumor removed from her right forearm (front leg) today. I've given her 0.1 ml of liquid Buprenorphine at 7:40 p.m. and a 1/4 tab of Benadryl at 6:00 p.m. She has peed, eaten small amounts of boiled chicken, cooked carrots, and pasta, but has been crying since I picked her up at 2:00 p.m. Can I give her another 0.1 ml of the pain medication, and is the dressing on her incision too tight?

I gave my Chihuahua a worming tablet, but he vomited about 30 to 40 minutes later, mostly liquid, and I couldn't see the tablet. Should I re-treat him for worms, or is that enough time for the tablet to be digested?

My 11 1/2-year-old Maltese, who has a grade 6 heart murmur, was recently diagnosed with either cancer or fungal pneumonia based on a chest X-ray. We have started medication for pneumonia. Is there any non-invasive method to confirm the diagnosis, especially considering the risks of anesthesia due to the heart murmur?

A 16-year-old Bichon named BJ was diagnosed with pancreatitis and an enlarged liver. Despite being on anti-vomiting, antibiotic, and pain medications since Friday, BJ cannot stand, is very weak, and cries/moans all day. He has not eaten since early Friday morning and stopped drinking water about 12-13 hours ago. What should be done for BJ, and is it time to consider euthanasia?
