My French bulldog, Grae Bleau, has experienced multiple episodes of facial swelling and hives today. He has also been licking his paws a lot and stopped jumping on the sofa. He was given Benadryl, which temporarily reduced the swelling and hives, but the symptoms returned. What could be causing this and what should I do?

My 60lb lab ate approximately 22oz of my kids' Christmas candy, half dark chocolate and half milk. We think it was approximately 3 hours before we realized. We've given him 6 tsp of hydrogen peroxide about 45min ago and he has not thrown up. Should we give activated charcoal or more hydrogen peroxide?
